Lyft, Opendoor, and Chime all announced layoffs in the last day. Stripe, Silicon Valley’s crowned jewel, also announced a hefty 14% layoff. On top of that, today (Friday, November 3rd), half of Twitter’s staff is going to be let go. It’s a hard time to be a skilled worker in tech right now and I empathize with the laid off employees. With that said, I have something I think can help….
I built a product called Seedscout that makes finding new professional opportunities in tech really simple. Hers’s how it works. Join the Seedscout network for free and open yourself up to intro requests from other Seedscout users who are hiring. There is no time commitment from you, other than fielding intro requests in your inbox. It takes 5 minutes to sign up and you may be getting intro requests within an hour or two from notable startups in the network.
We’re most known for connecting founders to investors but we just as easily have connected jobseekers to founders who are hiring too. We have dozens of startups on our platform who recently found funding and are now using Seedscout to hire talent. If you want to be on their radar, sign up for Seedscout as a jobseeker below. It takes 5 minutes, it’s free, and could change your life. Regardless, best of luck out there.
