Your definition of an Access economy will probably serve more as a filter than a source of access. Access is a misnomer here. This is why the human visual system is so much more sophisticated than that of the house fly: it's designed for what it filters out, not what it takes in.

The value of an access economy under near infinite abundance of people will be exclusion. Welcome to humanity.

Love this. I had never heard of the access economy before but it makes sense.

Filtering through mountains of data is a nightmare for us all. Businesses that help is find and connect with the right people and find some way to vet them (reputation system of some kind?) will be extremely powerful and lucrative in the near future.

I also agree about the premature excitement about Bitcoin, crypto, and associated web3 technology.

Most of it is still too difficult to access, secure, and manage for non-insiders. Until those issues are addressed it will remain a space for only those with the time and money to invest into it.
